Things to bring
Shoes that will stay on your feet in the river. Flip flops will not stay on your feet in the river, no matter how bad you want them to. We suggest old sneakers, water shoes, or sports sandals. Wearing secure shoes will help protect your feet and keep the river clean. You should also bring sunblock, towels, a change of clothes, water, and snacks.
If you want to bring anything on the river with you, you'll want to make sure you can keep it dry. Don't forget to bring a trash bag too!
Things to know
You don't need to know how to swim to take a tubing trip, but you should not be afraid of the water and you cannot go out alone.
The river is NOT an amusement park, it's a natural environment. There are rocks, wildlife, and potentially other items people have left behind, like glass. Be aware of your surroundings while you are on the water.
Our tubing trips are unguided, therefore there are no staff members on the water to assist you. If you are going out with a group of children, we recommend making sure you have enough adults going out to help manage the group.
Be respectful to others on the water. They are there to enjoy it too!
